Rendering Find the Reflection Control, located on the upper left of your screen. This control is comprised of five sections that will highlight when you click on them. If none of the areas are highlighted, then MandleAcid will generate a 337 by 337 pixel image when you click the "Render" button. If you select any of the control's areas, MandleAcid will focus on that section of the final image and create Kaleidoscopic reflections around it. This creates symmetrical images that often bear little resemblance to the original 337 by 337 version. Flashback Selector You can select your starting color set by clicking on these arrows, located just below the Image "B" Selector. Phase Sometimes, a certain combination of images will lack sufficient contrasting patterns and shapes to be of much interest. The phase button, when "on," reverses the mapping of colors onto Image "A." This can make parts of the final image seem to stick out dramatically, as if you've created a foreground- background relationship between Images "A" and "B." Try combining an image with itself using this feature.
